Pratham Books Champion : Minakshi Prabhu

This story was sent to us by Minakshi Prabhu.

I had a great time with my story session. The sessions was in the govt school at Tippasandra, Bangalore. I could really see that sessions like these will help the children because many of the children at a sixth or seventh grade were struggling with reading the English text book.

I also covered the smaller grades - did about 3 sessions and used both Paplu the giant as well as Phani's funny chappals. I started the session with asking the children to spend 30 mins a day reading / revieiwng what they did in school. I ended the session reiterating the same as well as promising them to come every month once to read with them.

Thank you Minakshi for spreading the joy of reading!
