Pratham Books Champion : Smriti Middha

For International Literacy Day (8th September), we had a dream - we wished that 100 people would volunteer to conduct storytelling sessions across the country. We ended up finding more than 250 champions to conduct storytelling sessions across the country. We will be sharing the stories of all our champions through our blog.

Purnendu Kabi from Pratham Books was able to attended the storytelling session conducted by Smriti Middha on 7th September 2012. He said :
We kicked off the ILD story telling session from Delhi at SSMI (Swami Shivananda Memorial Institute) ,Western Avenue, Punjabi Bagh. Smriti Midhha conducted this session. It was attended by 36 children of Class-2.

Children's really enjoyed the session and at the end we asked the children to do some drawings.

Thank you Smriti for spreading the joy of reading!
